OASPA Offers a Seminar for HR Administrative Assistants

The Administrative Assistants who attended the seminar in March, 2014 requested that OASPA continue to offer seminars on a regular basis. The next seminar will be held at the Butler County ESC on Monday, October 6, 2014.

The day’s activities will provide numerous tips to take back to the office, ample time to network with other administrative assistants, a great lunch, as well as interactions with attorneys! For a look at the complete agenda, click here.

Administrative Assistants, who work in a district in which the HR Director is an OASPA member, can attend the seminar  for $50; if the district does not have an OASPA member, the registration fee is $100.

OASPA/OAEE Works for You

During these tumultuous times, many of us are grappling with issues such as how to continue to provide the quality of services while operating on a shoestring budget. Your membership will enhance your access to the resources and networks necessary to thrive today. Our organizations bring together career services professionals from institutions with teacher preparation programs and personnel administrators from school districts throughout the state who work together cooperatively to bring about increased quality and diversity within the school systems.

OASPA Offers SUCCEED
OASPA has partnered with McGrath Training Systems to offer SUCCEED to Ohio school districts.
McGrath SUCCEED is a performance management system with practical tools for the day-to-day challenges of administrative (certificated or classified) leadership - especially those which require verbal and written communication that impacts performance.
The two-day immersion course includes a step-by-step process for producing results with a user-friendly online tool which guides participants in clarifying thinking and helping them to prepare effective spoken and written communications.
For more information click on McGrath SUCCEED in the above menu bar or visit the McGrath website.
If you have any questions or wish to schedule training in your district, contact Michael Rarick at (937) 320-1843 or at oaspa.exec.dir@gmail.com
